About

Hey, I'm Wil.

The human half of wilzil.

I'm a full-stack developer with years of experience across the stack — from helpdesk and infrastructure to QA, marketing systems, and production apps. I've seen tech shift more times than I can count, but nothing has hit like what's happening right now with AI.

The tools are moving fast. Every week there's a new model, a new framework, a new way to automate something that used to take days. I've been deep in it — not just reading about it, but building with it. Learning what works, what breaks, and where the real leverage is.

That's why I started wilzil. The timing felt right. AI gives me the speed of a small agency while keeping the quality and care of one person who actually gives a damn about your project.

AI needs the human touch.

AI is powerful. It can write code, generate designs, and move at a speed no human can match alone. But it doesn't understand your business. It doesn't know your customers. It can't tell the difference between something that works and something that actually fits.

That's where I come in. Every project that comes through wilzil gets my eyes, my judgment, and my care. Zil (my AI partner) handles the heavy lifting — research, scaffolding, testing, analysis — but I'm the one making the calls. I review everything. I make sure it actually works for your business, not just technically, but practically.

The best results come from human direction and AI execution working together. Not one replacing the other. That's what wilzil is built on.

I want you to succeed.

That's not a tagline. I genuinely care about the outcome. If something isn't right, we work it out. If the scope changes, we talk about it. If you need help after launch, I'm here.

I should be upfront: I have a full-time day job. wilzil is something I'm building on the side because I believe in it. That means I'm not going to overpromise or take on more than I can handle. But it also means when I take on your project, it's because I actually want to build it — not because I need to fill a quota.

I'm selective because I want every project to be something I'm proud of. Something that actually helps your business. If it's not a good fit, I'll tell you. If it is, I'll put everything into it.

The bottom line

AI is incredible, but it needs a human driving it. Someone who understands context, cares about quality, and is accountable when things need fixing. That's what wilzil is — the best of both worlds.

If any of this resonates, let's talk. Describe what you need and I'll give you an honest estimate. No pressure, no BS.
